What a lifesaver, what a guy! After finding out early in the morning that our Mount Ijen tour couldn’t go ahead through the hotel, we urgently needed a solution. Luckily, he managed to organize a seamless private tour for us right away!
This was one of the best experiences of our trip in Indonesia! The guide, Hasyim is kind and caring. Thanks to him we got to experience not only the majestic landscapes of mount Ijen and the blue fire but also some authentic moments with local villagers.

Want to have an incredible experience? Come meet Hasyim. He showed us his village, introduced us to the locals, and hosted us in his home, Indonesian style. The next day we went to Kawah Ijen. The weather conditions were challenging, but Hasyim was very considerate. A truly wonderful encounter, far removed from the usual tourist experiences.
If you’d like an authentic experience with a Javanese family, to discover coffee and rice cultivation, to climb Mount Kawah Ijen with an experienced guide, and to bathe in hot springs surrounded by breathtaking scenery, I highly recommend Hasyim. Suite aux nombreuses recommandations du forum, j’ai aussi contacté Hasyim avec lequel nous avons passé 3 jours et 2 nuits pour découvrir le Kawah Ijen et le Mont Bromo, et cette expérience a été l’un des plus beaux moments de notre voyage en Indonésie. Hasyim est un guide local et il parle un très bon anglais... Si vous recherchez une expérience authentique, souhaitez rencontrer des habitants, sortir des circuits classiques et vivre un voyage vraiment personnalisé, nous recommandons Hasyim sans hésiter.
Grâce aux membres du forum nous avons eu l’opportunité de faire le trek de 3 jours et 2 nuits autour du Mont Bromo et du kawah Ijen avec Hasyim. Quelle expérience incroyable… étant accompagné de 2 jeunes enfants de 3 et 7 ans il a su adapter le tour afin qu’il reste mémorable. Ses explications et son accueil chaleureux sont exceptionnels !
On a passé deux jours et une nuit avec lui, et comme tout le monde, on recommande vivement les services de Hasyim pour le Kawah Ijen et le Mount Bromo. Sa communication est claire, son accueil gentil et ses explications très intéressantes. Il est d’une grande ouverture d’esprit !
Je ne peux que recommander de contacter Hasyim pour une expérience hors des sentiers battus. Journée entre rizières, piscine au milieu de la jungle, cascades et plantations. Hasyim parle parfaitement anglais et se débrouille très bien en français. Son approche communautaire fait toute la différence !
J’ai passé deux jours incroyables, totalement hors des sentiers battus, avec une vraie immersion dans la culture locale. Dormir chez lui et sa famille m’a permis de découvrir son village, les traditions locales ainsi que la cuisine du coin dans une ambiance très authentique.
Nous avons eu la chance de passer quelques jours avec Hasyim et sa famille. Nous voulions quelque chose de plus authentique qu’un tour classique au Mt Ijen et n’avons pas été déçus. C’est une expérience superbe et Hasyim a un très bon cœur.
Hasyim connaît tout sur Ijen, sa nature, ses mineurs... Mais en plus il vous ouvre les portes de sa maison et son village. Son projet est plus global que la simple visite du volcan : partager la valeur du tourisme avec toute sa communauté locale.
Pour les gens qui veulent visiter Banyuwangi et faire Kawah Ijen en toute sécurité (groupe de 3 filles) : Hasyim est une personne extraordinaire, professionnelle, qui aide vraiment son village. Moment magique garanti !
Séjour de 3 jours 2 nuits pour voir Bromo & Ijen avec nos 3 enfants. Visite des plantations de café, baignade aux sources chaudes locales, dîner chez Hasyim... Une expérience extraordinaire et profondément humaine.
